Firefox 5.0 - Final เช้านี้ขอเริ่มต้นด้วยรายงานข่าวเอาใจสาวกบราวเซอร์โอเพ่นซอร์สยอดฮิตอย่างไฟร์ฟอกซ์ โดยพียงแค่ 3 เดือนหลังจากที่ทาง Mozilla ได้ออก Firefox 4 ล่าสุด ทางบริษัทเปิดให้ผู้ใช้สามารถดาวน์โหลด Firefox 5 เวอร์ชันที่ทำงานบนเดสก์ทอปพีซี และอุปกรณ์แอนดรอยด์ (Android) แล้ว

     ต้องถือว่าในช่วงสองปีที่ผ่านมา Mozilla ได้มีการปรับปรุงพัฒนาครั้งใหญ่ให้กับบราวเซอร์ตั้งแต่ Firefox 3.5 เรื่อยมาจนถึง Firefox 4 ซึ่งสำหรับ Firefox 5 จัดเป็นบราวเซอร์ที่มีรอบการอัพเดทที่เร็วกว่าปกติ และดูเหมือน Mozilla กำลังพยายามไล่กวด Chrome ของ Google ที่มีรอบการอัพเดทบ่อยมากจนตอนนี้เวอร์ชัน 12 เข้าไปแล้ว โดยล่าสุดทาง Mozilla ได้เปิดเผยว่า ผู้ใช้อาจได้สัมผัสกับ Firefox 7 ภายในสิ้นปีนี้

     อย่างไรก็ตาม อินเตอร์เฟซโดยรวมของ Firefox 5 ไม่ได้แตกต่างจาก Firefox 4 แต่เป็นการเพิ่มการสนับสนุนมาตรฐานเว็บให้ดียิ่งขึ้น ตลอดจนแก้ไขข้อผิดพลาด และเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพความเร็วของการทำงาน ซึ่งจากข้อมูลเบื้องต้น Firefox 5 จะมาพร้อมกับ การสนับสนุนการใช้ CSS ทำภาพเคลื่อนไหว การเพิ่ม Do-Not-Track บนเวอร์ชันโมบาย สนับสนุน JavaScript และ Canvas รวมถึงมาตรฐานของภาษามาร์คอัพ HTML5, XHR, MathML และ SMIL นอกจากนี้ ทาง Mozilla ยังอ้างอีกด้วยว่า Firefox 5 มีการพัฒนาประสิทธิภาพการทำงานต่างๆ นับ 1,000 รายการ จากการทดลองใช้งาน Firefox 5 พบว่า มันเร็วกว่า Firefox 4 จริงๆ คุณผู้อ่านที่ใช้ FF4 สามารถดาวน์โหลด FF5 ได้ด้วยการคลิกปุ่ม Check for updates ในเมนู About Firefox ขอบคุณข้อมูลจาก arip.co.th จ้าา
